PraMaanas (pronounced /ˌprʌˈmɑːnʌs/) comes from Proto-Indo European roots *per (= forward, front) and *men (= mind, to think).

PraMaanas Research is a non-profit organization based in Germany that aims to advance knowledge by bringing together global researchers to develop new ideas and conduct multidisciplinary scientific research.

PraMaanas’s mission is to promote scientific research and make its methods, findings, and practical relevance more accessible. We aim to support multidisciplinary research, encourage the use of rigorous qualitative and quantitative methods, and communicate research results through publications, events, and educational activities.

We seek to strengthen research skills and evidence-informed decision-making by creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among researchers, institutions, and the wider public.

Through our scientific publications including public lectures and popular science books, we intend to raise societal scientific awareness and literacy, which is becoming more and more important as new technologies like wireless communications, digitalization and AI change all aspects of human life.

PraMaanas’s activities include –

• Conducting multidisciplinary research in collaboration with global individual researchers, universities and institutes
• Publishing research results as scientific-technological paper, articles etc
• Engaging in scientific communication to wider public through lectures, books, seminars etc
• Promoting international understanding among peoples and cultures through the above activities
